Bristol Blenheim returns to Newcastle

***** Bristol Blenheim returns to Newcastle *****

The Bristol Blenheim will once again return to the skies of Newcastle on August 6th after making her first post restoration display in Northern Ireland last summer in Newcastle.

The Blenheim from the The Aircraft Restoration Company based at Duxford is the only one in the world that is airworthy.

The Bristol Blenheim aircraft is from WWII and is a British light bomber aircraft and was used extensively in the second world war and played a role in the Battle of Britain.

It is fantastic to have yet another WWII aircraft in the skies of Newcastle this summer joining the Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane.
